Jeremiah 17:7-8
But blessed is the man who trusts in the Lord, whose confidence is in him. He will be like a tree planted by the water that sends out its roots by the stream. It does not fear when heat comes; its leaves are always green. It has no worries in a year of drought and never fails to bear fruit

Ezekiel 31:7
So it was beautiful in its greatness, in the length of its branches: for its roots extended to many waters

Romans 11:16,18
...and if the root be holy, the branches are too ...Remember that it is not you who supports the root, but the root supports you

Colossians 2:6-7
So then, just as you received Christ Jesus as Lord, continue to live in him, rooted and built up in him, strengthened in the faith as you were taught, and overflowing with thankfulness

Ephesians 3:17-19 that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith. And I pray that you, being rooted and established in love, may have power, together with all the saints, to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ, and to know this love that surpasses knowledge - that you may be filled to the measure of all the fullness of God

1. Planted

Matthew 13:24-28
Jesus told them another parable: “The kingdom of heaven is like a man who sowed good seed in his field. But while everyone was sleeping, his enemy came and sowed weeds among the wheat, and went away. When the wheat sprouted and formed heads, then the weeds also appeared. “The ownerʼs servants came to him and said, ‘Sir, didnʼt you sow good seed in your field? Where then did the weeds come from?’ “ ‘An enemy did this,’ he replied.

2. Growing

- Not just be on Knowing, must also be on Growing.

James 2:17
...Faith by itself, if it is not accompanied by action, is dead

Watch your thoughts;
they become you words.

Watch your words;
they become your actions.

Watch your actions;
they become your habits.

Watch your habits;
they become your character.

Watch your character;
it becomes your destiny.

Matthew 23:25-28
“Woe to you, teachers of the law and Pharisees, you hypocrites! You clean the outside of the cup and dish, but inside they are full of greed and self-indulgence. Blind Pharisee! First clean the inside of the cup and dish, and then the outside also will be clean. “Woe to you, teachers of the law and Pharisees, you hypocrites! You are like whitewashed tombs, which look beautiful on the outside but on the inside are full of the bones of the dead and everything unclean. In the same way, on the outside you appear to people as righteous but on the inside you are full of hypocrisy and wickedness.

3. Rooted

John 15:4-5
Remain in me, and I will remain in you. No branch can bear fruit by itself; it must remain in the vine. Neither can you bear fruit unless you remain in me. I am the vine; you are the branches. If a man remains in me and I in him, he will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing
